La Crosse, Wisconsin — On Monday, Wisconsin State Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) held a press conference discussing the introduction of legislation to cap the price of insulin in Wisconsin at $35 a month. Sen. Pfaff was joined by Representative Jill Billings (D-LaCrosse), St. Clare Mission Executive Director Jason Larson, and patient advocates. Sen. Pfaff's introduction of this legislation builds on the Biden administration's efforts to lower the cost of prescription drugs through the Inflation Reduction Act, including provisions that cap insulin at $35/months for seniors on Medicare.
